MEDtalks: Nupur AND Enich

For those of you who weren't able to make it to MEDtalks on Monday, I highly suggest you go next year! It was a fun, interesting, moving, informative night with truly amazing speakers. I think I speak for all of us when I say that we in the audience were BLOWN away. However, this post is featuring two of those speakers because they are both Promise Clinic Steering Committee members, both from Operations!

Nupur Gulati (M2) spoke about both her time working for WISER and her experiences as a teacher and the impact that can be made by empowering girls and young women in communities all over the world. Nupur was a phenomenal, passionate, and engaging speaker and I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. The time flew by and I was so disappointed when it was over!

Michael Enich (M2) discussed his experiences working with homeless youth and artfully tied that together with a story about his hometown of Chicago. Enich made us think about mental illness and its impacts and how we can reverse the current using stories about others and himself. Anyone who has heard Enich speak one word knows that it is hard not to love him, but he was truly on fire and brought all of his amazing energy, hilariousness, and sensitivity to his talk.

Here are just a few pictures of Nupur and Enich in action!
