Person of the Week March 5th- Anna Rose Johnson

Hey ya'll!

Remember that snow day I mentioned in the last post? Well, while it made my life easier (I got to catch up on posts), we had many people working behind the scenes to make sure all of our patients did not trek out in the cold when the clinic was closed.

This was a very unique situation. By 12 PM or so that day, we found out that clinic was closed. Because of her rapid and persistent work as a member of the Communications steering committee. we were able to successfully reschedule each and every patient who was supposed to come into clinic that night in the next week or two.

It was no surprise when several of those on operations approached us as the blog guru and asked if we could feature Anna Rose on here. Alas, we have given the people what they want, as we often do. Here is this dedicated, amazing Anna Rose in all her almost-doctor glory:

Since we want you to get to know this fabulous gal, we asked her some questions:

Why is it important for Promise Clinic to be easily accessible for our patients?

Promise Clinic serves as an excellent paradigm for a community-based health care delivery model. The Promise Clinic is unique as it offers patients individualized care through a team-based approach and allows RWMS medical students to affect change in the greater New Brunswick area. The clinic is open weekly and the entire Promise Clinic team strives to ensure that every patient is seen as quickly as possible and is offered optimal care. I am fortunate to be part of such a great program!

If someone were to make a movie based on your life, who would play you?

Hmmm…Audrey Hepburn (I’m slightly obsessed!)

I mean, now that she mentions it, doesn't she look like Audrey anyway?! It makes sense she would play her in a movie.

Keep on being your awesome, caring, bilingual self Anna Rose! Promise Clinic is lucky to have ya!

xoxo Promise Clinic
