Team of the Week November 20th- Team 15

Happy Sunday to you all!

Now that we are all recuperating from our fabulous Thanksgiving break, we figured it'd be a good time to introduce November 20th's Team of the Week- Team 15!

This team is very unique-we have our first collaborative pharmacy student to ever be featured on the blog- Amna!

As Promise Clinic becomes bigger and takes on more patients, we are always looking for new ways to make our patient experience even better. We have a few pharmacy and physician assistant students working alongside our student doctor teams to make our patients' visits more valuable.

Without further ado, here is a photo of this better-looking-than-average team:

(From left to right: Guensley Delva, Jonathan Stoll, Soha Shah, Michael Metrione, and Amna Jamil)

First we asked them our standard,

What do you like most about Promise Clinic?

Michael Metrione (M1)- "It is a unique experience that you would not otherwise get as a first year medical student."

Jonathan Stoll (M2)- "As a student doctor, you get to practice exam and note-taking skills that you wouldn't normally."

Soha Shah (M3)- "It's nice to have continuity with a patient throughout the years in medical school."

Guensley Delva (M4)- "Promise Clinic is empowering for our patients."

Amna Jamil (Pharmacy)- "It's a great way for us pharmacy students to get patient interaction!"

And then we asked them the even more standard life question:

What Beyonce song most closely relates to your life?

M1 Michael- Irreplaceable

M2 Jonathan- Halo

M3 Soha- Irreplaceable

M4 Guensley- Flawless

Pharmacy Amna- Independent woman (I know what you're thinking-this is Destiny's Child!! Blasphemy! But really-that whole group was Beyonce too...am I right?!)

As the inspiring Beyonce Knowles once said, "If everything was perfect, you would never learn and you would never grow." At Promise Clinic, we are constantly trying to give our patients a better quality of life and better care, hence the incorporation of other disciplines into our practice. We hope to continue to improve in the future and to those who are already making strides-like our Team 15-we salute you!

xoxo Promise Clinic
